| This is a huge benefit to our Island in that now visitors may save the expense of renting a car! I have seen the shuttle in action and it will drop you off right in front of your complex, rental agency, hotel or motel. Once on the Island one may take advantage of our FREE bus service, called the WAVE, just pick a spot on either Padre Blvd or Gulf Blvd and when you see it coming WAVE, ha ha Our FREE bus service alternates between one staying on the Island and the other going over the causeway as far as the shopping center across from Highway 48. Providing access to all the shops and restaurants in Port Isabel. |
